Spoorboom was one of a few Roan Antelope that I had to photograph for my client. You can see that he is the breeding bull by looking at his impressive horn size and his tag.
I called him "Spoorboom" for no obvious reason, just because it was a local name for these animals.
Tau is a lion I found wandering around a castle in Vaalwater, South Africa.
His real name is Simba (obviously). He's also one of 5 lions wandering the castle, but the only male. I found out recently that there are offspring but Nala doesn't want me to see them yet.
"Tau" is derived from the Tswana language, symbolizing strength, courage and leadership.
